NukeSentinel(tm)
Website protection for the PHP-Nuke user

We are happy you have stopped by to read up on our script, NukeSentinel(tm).
Let us start with what NukeSentinel(tm) is not. It is not foolproof. It is not a super script. It will not make you your breakfast in the morning.
What NukeSentinel(tm) is very simple. It is a website protection script for PHP-Nuke and RavenNuke based websites. It was born out of the need to better secure PHP-Nuke websites as many security issues were being uncovered by many people. NukeScripts(tm), Raven's PHP Scripts and NukeResources were all producing scripts that enhanced security. Then we combined efforts and NukeSentinel(tm) was born.
We have striven to produce a script that is easy to use and to install. We also strive to keep upto date with current intrusion attempts and add protection were and when needed. To this end you will find what is in NukeSentinel(tm) just below. This is not a massive listing but an overview.
Intrustion Blockers:
11 blocker types are included. Among these are UNION, CLike, Scripting, Administration, and Filtering
Database Maintaince:
Sections are included to help with database Optimization, Repair, and Backup.
Help/Info System:
An extensive Help and Information system is built in to aid the user in the use of the overall system.
Harvester Control:
The system keeps a user edited list of harvester agents that will not be allowed to access your site.
Referer Control:
The system also keeps a user edited list of refering domains that can not send unwanted users to your site.
Tracking System:
Maintains a complete listing of ip's visiting your site. It allows you to add the ip to the blocked ip's list, user agent to the harvesters list, their refering domain to the blocked domain list, and other features.
Excluded IP System:
Maintains a list of ip ranges that will not be tracked by the system. i.e. Yahoo and Google bots
Protected IP System:
Maintains a list of IP Ranges that will be protected by the system.
IP2Country System:
NukeScripts(tm) maintains a complete, upto date IP2Country database that is released monthly. You can import the monthly updates into NukeSentinel(tm) easily. This data allows you to see what countries visiting ip's are coming from. You are also able to block entire countries with this resource. It is also made so that any new modules can access the information as well.
Flood Blocker System:
Although it is basic, it helps protect your Nuke based site from being overloaded through flooding attacks.
Santy Worm Protection:
Also a basic blocker, this helps prevent the santy worm from exploiting your Nuke based site.
HTTPAuth/CGIAuth System:
Requires user authenication before accessing the admin section of your Nuke based site.
