Re-Post ~ Children Learning Reading Program Update

The first several years of your child's life are the most important for healthy brain development and growth. Critical aspects of a child's brain is established well before they enter school, and it is the experiences during these sensitive periods of development that play a critical role in shaping the capacities of the brain.

Through extensive research, testing, and trial and error the creators of ChildrenLearningReading.com developed a learning to read system that not only allowed them to teach their own children to read before turning 3 years old, but by the time their daughter was just 4 years 2 months old, she was already reading at a grade 3 level.

They now want to share that reading program with other parents.

My Review :
I was sent a selection of mp3 audio clips with printable pdf booklets for my child and I to use as part of the ChildrenLearningReading.com program.  My daughter and I listened to the clips with the booklets in hand.  She wasn't very interested in listening to the sounds, but when I repeated them with her it helped keep her attention better.  This program is fairly simple and easy to use and I can see the benefits for younger children.  My daughter's reading skills did improve some, but as she is already preschool age and already reading simple words.  We will continue to use this program to increase her current skills and help her move forward.  My only complaint is that I have to print the materials myself.

When I checked the website and watched the videos of the young children reading, it looks much easier, faster and better than what I have personally experienced.  Please check out the website for yourself and see if it looks like a program you would be interested in trying with your children.

I received one or more books/products in the post above for review purposes only. I was in no way required to write a positive review.
