Have Fun, but don't forget your Ettiquette! Some simple ways to keep blogging fun and give back!

Blog Etiquette according to me (and many bloggers I know)

Just a friendly reminder for when you are hopping around entering giveaways and joining weekly, daily, or other memes, that there is a nice way to show your appreciation to those bloggers who spend their time working hard to make your hop experience pleasant and fun.

Here are some etiquette rules I've come up with:

#1)  If you join a blog hop (daily, weekly, meme), don't expect to only put up your links and receive.  Show some courtesy and give back to the hop host(s) and as many others as you can.
Easy things you can do:
* Like (or 1+) the post,
* follow them in all ways possible (GFC, Google+,Twitter, Pinterest, etc),
* comment/post on your blog about the hop/meme,
* share on facebook, tweet, etc . .

#2)  Leave the host a comment letting them know what you did!  "Hi, love the linky/hop!  I'm now following you. . . . liked you . . . shared this. . . "

#3) Leave your blog URL so they can return the favor!

#4) PAY ATTENTION!  What kind of hop is it?  Is it facebook? GFC? Twitter?  Make sure to leave the correct URL for the correct Hop!  Finding a twitter link on a pinterest hop can be confusing and frustrating to some people.

#5) Read the instructions for the Hop ~ If you are not able to follow ALL the rules, Don't Join!



Bloggers love to receive comments, and love to know that their hard work is appreciated!  So share back, spread some blogger love!

Clicking the 1+ button below this post is a nice way to say "thank you" or "i like this post" or "i agree".  

Spreading the word through Twitter, Facebook, blogging is also nice!
