My Review :
I ordered a pair of adorable pink sunny sleeves with a floral design for both of my girls to try.  Although my girls are over 3 years apart in age - they are similar in size - so the sleeves fit both of them pretty well.  My older daughter (age 9) says they are "cool" but she only likes to wear them "sometimes".  My younger daughter (age 6) wants to wear them every day to play outside - as well as in the house to play dress up with too.  I have to hide them from her or she ends up wearing them with her princess dress up clothes - or to school!

I love the idea of having the sleeves for outings during the day, picnics, bike rides, walks and sitting watching my kids' softball games.  I don't always think or remember to put on sunscreen for simple activities like that, then end up with sunburnt arms (usually mine) and red faces.

Sunny Sleeves also have sleeves for adults - and some cute ones with "tattoos" that I want for myself.  They even have something like "shrugs" that cover not only arms but shoulders as well for those hot summer days wearing tank tops!  I plan to get a couple sets of sleeves and shrugs for myself from Sunny Sleeves as well as a few more pairs for the girls - my son likes a few of the designs but most likely won't wear them  - they would end up lost in his Pre-Teen bedroom mess (yes, I just close the door usually).

I do recommend Sunny Sleeves for younger kids - toddlers, babies and older - It is so much easier and safer to just put on a cute pair of light-weight sun block sleeves to run around shopping, playing or whatever!  And they are washable!!!

  1. These are cute! Are they hot or really breathable? We are a very fair-skinned family and could definitely benefit from these!!

    1. They are not "hot" but are quite breathable. They feel similar to a thick swimsuit type material - can get wet, dry quickly and are fun to wear. Bot of my girl are able to wear the same set of sleeves - the only thing that is not perfect is they are longer than their arms, but I just roll them down a bit at the top and they work great - room to grow! Great for playing outside in the backyard, walks, bike rides and other times they are out in the sun!
