My Review:
I was given a choice of products to try up to a certain value ~ knowing that whatever products I choose, would be the same products I would be allowed to giveaway on my blog.  I thought the best choice would be to choose a foundation, blush and eye shadow set - basics that most women would love to have, and usually have on hand.

I went to the website ~ www.miamariu.com/ and found that they have a pretty good "find your shade" for the foundation.  I went through the pictures provided and could not really find where I fit in.  Being somewhat fair skinned but with freckles, I often have difficulty choosing makeup shades and colors that really blend in with my skin tone yet doesn't look obvious.  After a few minutes of deciding on the best shade for me, I finally chose the: Perfecting Finish Mineral Cream Foundation in Vainilla.  And when I first used my new foundation I was more than happy with the results - It did blend perfectly with my skin!  And feels light on my skin - I forgot later in the day that I was wearing makeup.





The eye shadow was darker than I expected and what I am used to - so it took more time to find a good blend the first time I used it.

To compliment the foundation and my skin tone, I chose the Mineral Eye Shadow Duo in Rosa Marquesa, and the Mineral Blush Maria Azucena.  I did not have as good an outcome with these color choices as I did the foundation.  The Eye Shadow turned out to be darker than it looked online.  I was still able to use it, but had to tone it down by blending it in and putting lighter colors with it  - I don't usually make my eye makeup very dark so after playing with it for a few minutes I was satisfied with the results.
