My Review :
This is not a book for younger readers. The Devil in Pew Number Seven is a true story of one person's anger and hatred. . . and another's (Rebecca's) ultimate forgiveness. The horrible tragedy in this book is not for just any reader. I think it is best that I warn any who might be interested that this is an emotional book and not for light reading. Rebecca is to be admired. This book is written from Rebecca's perspective as she recalls the events of her childhood. All that went on before, and leading up to the horrific events is almost unbelievable. Then, Rebecca has a unique opportunity to face the person responsible, and instead of anger, she gives forgiveness. This is a wonderful emotion-packed book. A definite tear-jerker, and will leave the reader thinking about it long after the story has ended.
